John Aynel and Pagan ChylternePhilip Bluwet of Wall, esquire, appeals John Aynel of the county of Hertfordshire and Pagan Chylterne of the same county, on account that the aforesaid John Aynel and Pagan, together with others unknown to the aforesaid Philip, on Saturday 15 June 1381, feloniously entered at night the lodging of the same Philip at the manor of Moor in the parish of Rickmansworth in the county of Hertfordshire, and there broke into diverse chests, strong-boxes and hampers of the same Philip and feloniously took and carried away one small chest and one hamper with the charters and other muniments concerning the lands and tenements of the said Philip and Katherine his wife to the value of £20, found there enclosed in the same small chest and in the said one hamper.
