And that Robert Cartere, John Giboun junior (otherwise hanged for the same crime and others), John Deye of Willingham, John Russell, Henry Rande and Richard Ashwell, sergeant, on the same Sunday during parish mass entered the church of St Mary's, Cambridge, and feloniously broke into a chest there, and took 10 s. from John Giboun senior to leave that chest alone. And from other inquisitions of Papworth [hundred] that the same John Deye was a common congregator against the peace.
