DetailsAnother inquisition taken on the same day, on the oath of Thomas Pipere, John Upwer, Hugh Whelwryghte, John Wattes, John Berlee, carter, John Colchester, John Taverner, John Cayle, Richard Hynton, William Purser, Nicholas Pottere, and Nicholas Potton, who say that on Saturday 15th June 1381 at about the tenth hour in the night, Richard Martyn, John Barber, taverner, Simon Hosier, John Russell, [John Giboun junior who is dealt with elsewhere], Thomas Forbysshr and John Deye of Willingham rose up with other wrongdoers and broke into the house of William Bedell of Cambridge, and plundered and carried off his goods and chattels.
