DetailsAlso they present that Adam Smyth of Wroxham and Henry Staunford of Wroxham assembled and raised a society against the crown and the dignity of the lord king on Tuesday 18th June 1381 and they, with the aforesaid society, on the same Tuesday came to the Priory of Carrow within the liberty of Norwich and greatly threatened the life and limb of Lady Margaret de Engys, prioress of the aforesaid priory, if she did not release to them her charters, muniments and court rolls, and for fear of death the aforesaid prioress released to them the aforesaid charters, muniments and court rolls, which each and every single one was feloniously burned in Norwich.
