DetailsThey also say that the aforesaid William son of William was a chief leader of the people raised [in rebellion] against the peace and in prejudice of the king's crown at Rougham on Monday 17th June 1381, and the same William son of William along with other wrongdoers associated with him threw down the houses of John Reed of Rougham, and took and carried away goods and chattels found there worth 100s., against the king's peace.
