DetailsRobert Tuwe of Littleport, Thomas de Breccham of the same, John de Estcroft of the same and Richard Lodere of the same along with others unknown went to Southery on Monday 17th June 1381 at the time of the uprising and rumour, and broke into the manor there and the houses of the abbot and Convent of Bury St Edmunds and feloniously took and carried away 100 silver shillings and other precious objects worth 40s. And they burnt rolls and muniments of the said abbot they found there, against the lord king's peace.
