Details[The jurors] also say that William Bernard of Copdock on the aforesaid Sunday at the time of the rising in a warlike manner and against the dignity of the crown feloniously came with many others unknown to the village of Eyke and broke into and looted the close and houses of John Staverton, and similarly broke open various caskets belonging to the said John, and feloniously carried away charters, writings and other muniments, to the damage of the said John of 100 s.
