DetailsAlso that John Gelder, who was staying in Bury St Edmunds, was a common leader of wrongdoers, who was captured by various men of Thetford, because the aforesaid John Gelder had on him at the time, namely 17th June 1381, 6 marks 2 s. and 4 and a half d. in money, a sword and shield, and a horse, saddle and bridle worth 2 marks, the which chattels were handed over and delivered to the custody of John Berd, Richard Paltok and Thomas Walter.
