Text (English translation)[Summary] John Gyle and his wife Agners and Agnes' son William Adgor were involved in debt and trespass cases with their neighbour Adam Mody which started before the revolt and carried on the following years. In a court dated 13 January 1381 Adam Mody appears and accuses William Adgor of debt. Adam also claims that a certain John Gyle committed divers trespasses on Adam's corn; the neighbours estimate the damage at 7 bushel wheat, 2 1/2 bushel barley and 2 bushel oats. Agnes Gyle immediately starts a counterclaim against Adam Mody for trespass, alleding that during the time of the rumour Adam threatened her husband John Gyle and herself to life and limb and with the burning of their houses so that John and Agnes had to flee their dwelling ... And Adam took away their chattel worth 20s ... Adam pleads not guilty and puts himself on the country and Agnes does the same. Nothing is known about the outcome because the courts for the following four years are lost.
