II, Part 2, m. 12d 22 May 1382 Westminster Commission of oyer and terminer to William de Skipwyth, Thomas Hungerford, Robert Howard, Roger de Walisham, Roger de Boys and John Plays, on complaint by the king's uncle, John, duke of Lancaster, that Nicholas Flemmyng, William Coke of Wylton [Wilton], John Deye of Hokewold [Hockwold], Alexander Kyngpere, John Monke, Nicholas Goge, Thomas Writhe, Robert Aleyn, Alexander Archer, John Wodfrey, Thomas Gybon the younger, John Gates, John Philipp, John Meyr, Gilbert Warner of Ingham, Nicholas Barkere, Nicholas Beaufitz, Henry Soutere, John Avelyn and others entered his free warren at Gymyngham [Gimingham], Methewold [Methwold], Tonstede [Tunstead] and Crabbegate [Crabgate], Norf, broke his closes, houses and park there, hunted in the warren and park and dug in the soil, carried off earth, timber and other goods, hares, rabbits, pheasants, partridges and deer, and twenty horses, twenty oxen, fifty cows and a thousand sheep, value 200 marks, burned charters, rolls, etc, and assaulted his servants.
