Text (English translation)Norfolk Henry Lumenour appeared on the fourth day through his attorney against Peter Bonyard of Hoveton St Peter, Alexander Jullesson of Sparham, John Kyttesson of Sparham, John Clerk of Sparham, John Sherman of Brandiston, John Tayllour of Brandiston, William Rees of Wroxham, Geoffrey Prunne of Costessey, William Margeri of Wroxham, John Baxtere of South Walsham and William atte Dam of South Walsham, in a plea of why with force and arms they broke into the same Henry's close and houses at Norwich, and cut down his trees lately growing there, and seized and carried off those trees and other goods and chattels of his to the value of forty marks, as well as twenty marks of his money in coined money, and a certain box and two bags, with charters, deeds and other muniments contained in the same box and bags, and threatened the same Henry with destroying his houses there until Henry Ged, John Sporle and John Geywode had made fine for forty pounds in the name of the said Henry with the aforesaid Peter, Alexander, John, John, John, John, William, Geoffrey, William, John and William to save his aforesaid houses, and other outrages etc. to the great harm etc., and against the present king's peace etc. And they do not appear.
