Text (English translation)Court, 30 Sept 1381 ... The also present that John Forde [40d], of Brightlingsea, William Pach [40d] of the same, Henry Henkyn, John Broke, by force and arms entered the Abbey of St John's and took and carried off the rolls and muniments of that abbey.
