Whence he says that he suffered damages to the value of £200. And thereof he produces suit. And the aforesaid John Fawe appeared in person and says that he is not guilty of the aforesaid trespass, and places himself on the country. And the aforesaid William Hull likewise. Therefore, the sheriff is ordered to summon twelve jurors here octave of Martinmas 1384. And presently at this day the aforesaid William Hulle came through his aforesaid attorney and appeared against the aforesaid John Fawe on the aforesaid plea. And he did not come. And lately the aforesaid William came in person. And likewise, the jurors appeared, who, from agreement of the aforesaid, elected, tried, and sworn, say on their oath that the aforesaid John Fawes is guilty of the aforesaid trespass to the damage of the aforesaid William of two marks. Therefore, it is considered that the aforesaid William should recover his aforesaid damages from the aforesaid John to the two marks assessed. And therefore, John is to be arrested. And afterwards the aforesaid John came and satisfied the aforesaid William of the aforesaid damages here in court. Therefore, the aforesaid John is thenceforth quit.
