Text (English translation)Norfolk. Robert Trenchemere appeared through John Drake, his attorney, against Roger Nuttyng, Henry de Strattone, carpenter, John Herberd of Banningham, John Andrewes of Banningham, Alice Dennys and Roger Douce of Erpingham, on a plea that with force and arms they broke the closes and houses of the said Robert at Northrepps and Erpingham, and took and carried away his goods and chattels found there to the value of £20, and also a certain chest and a certain bag of his with charters, writings and other muniments contained therein, and other enormities etc, against the peace etc. And they did not come. And the sheriff was ordered to arrest them etc. And the sheriff reports that they cannot be found etc. Therefore, just as before, the sheriff is ordered to arrest them and produce them here in the octave of Hilary 1383.
