Text (English translation)Norfolk. Henry, Bishop of Norwich, appears through William Hornyng, his attorney, against Andrew Brampton on a plea that with force and arms he broke the close of the said bishop at Hevingham and burnt a certain chest and three bags of his found there, with charters, writings and other muniments contained in the same chest and bags, and other enormities, against the peace. And he does not come. And he is attached by Henry Michel and Thomas Hobert. Therefore, they are in mercy. And the sheriff is ordered to distrain him by all lands and revenues and produce him here at the octave of Saint John the Baptist 1382.
