Andrew de Cavendish by his attorney versus Peter Sponere, Reginald Payn, Roger Soutere of Bardwell, John Ymbert of Clare, Robert Bultell of Clare, Richard Goodyng of Clare, Elias Lytell of Belchamp St Paul's(?), Robert Sadelere, John Chaterys of Clare and William Darnell concerning the plea that they broke with force and arms into the close of the same Andrew at Fakenham Aspes [Fakenham Magna] and took and carried away a certain bag with written deeds and other muniments contained in the same bag and other goods and chattels worth £100 which they found there; and other enormities etc. at the grave damage etc. and against the peace of the king. And they did not come. It was ordered to the sheriff to attach them, and the sheriff returns that the aforesaid Peter Sponere and the others can not be found in his bailiwick etc; he is ordered to arrest them and they are to appear before the king in the octave of St Michael.
