Text (English translation)Beumond requests remedy as Savage with the malefactors that had come to London took him and despoiled him and his goods and forced him to make a fine to Savage.
General Information[c. 1381] The petition is dated to c. 1381 as the petition refers to the events of 14 June 1381 (Friday after Corpus Christi, 4 Ric. II), and the events are almost certainly part of the peasants' revolt. It is unlikely that the petition will too much later.
