Text (English translation)Indented writing witnessing that Thomas de Beverley is bound in the sum of £400 to Middleton, White and Newark, to be paid at certain place and time, and that Middleton, White and Newark grant that the bond be void if Beverley stands to the judgment of the archbishop of York for certain things that the community of Beverley are reasonably and by law able to prove and show.
