Text in Original Language[From Flower, 1905] Noverint universi per presentes quod ego Adam filius Willelmi Coppandale de Beverlaco, senioris, teneor et per presens scriptum firmiter obligatus sum Ricardo de RIidelton Aldermanno Beverlaci in ducentis libris sterlingorum solvendis eidem Ricardo vel suo certo attornato apud Beverlacum in festo Nativitatis sancti Johannis Baptiste proximo futuro sine ulteriori dilacione; ad quam quidem solucionem modo predicto bene et fideliter faciendam obligo me heredes et executores meos ac omnia bona et catalla mea per presentes. In cujus rei testimonium presentibus sigillum meum apposui. Datum apud Beverlacum octavo die mensis Junii, anno regni regis Ricardi secundi post conquestum Anglie quarto.
