Text (English translation)Inquisition held ex officio at Lodden in the said county on the eighteenth day of February 5 Richard II (18 Feb. 1382) before John Reed, escheator of the lord king in the beforementioned county, [the jurors] said upon their oath that Henry de Bungee of Canterbury, armourer, was convicted and beheaded at Canterbury in the county of Kent before Robert Tresilian on 20 June 1381 for diverse treasons in insurrections and uprisings against the lord king and his allegiance, committed on 13 June 1381, held in his demesne and fee 33 acres of arable land with appurtenances in Mundham in the said county of Norfolk which is valued at 3 s. 9 d. a year and not more because of the deficiency ... ? and the said Henry was 2 s. 6 d. in rent arrears from the feast of Michelmas ... the said 33 acres land and 2 s. ... Item they said that said Henry Bungeys had at Great Yarmouth ... a ruined cottage which is valued at 2 s. a year and for which services they do not know ...
