Text (English translation)William Topclyve v Richard Ismonger . Kent - William Topclyve de Maydestane himself appears against Richard Ismonger de Billeford on a plea that with force and arms he broke the close and houses of the said William at Shoford and took and carried away goods and chattels worth £20 and £20 in money, and took and burnt charters, writings, rolls and other muniments. Sheriff had been ordered to arrest him. Returns that he is not found. Order to arrest him is repeated as before, to be in CP in octave of S. Michael. Sheriff does not return writ. Order repeated, as many times previously, to be in CP in octave of Hilary.
