John Wade, prebendary of the prebend of Navestock in the church of St Paul London, plaintiff, appears by Richard Waltham his attorney against Elias atte Heth, Richard Hunte, Thomas Bette, John son of Thomas Hunte, John Becote, John Dyer, Adam Martyn, John Gyppe, John Brodegh, John atte Hoo, John Smyth, John Kerner, John Maldon, John Mareys, William Bolt, Robert Bolt and Nicholas Gromond, defendants, on a plea that with force and arms they broke the close and houses of John Wade at Navestock and took and carried away goods and chattels found there to the value of forty pounds and burnt charters, writings and other muniments found there.
