William Napton of Northampton, during the whole time of the loathsome disturbance lately brought about by various men rising up against the lord king's peace and against their allegiance within the realm of England, was a common rouser and inciter of many men of the community of the town of Northampton, with word, art, and contrivance, to make them rise up in a hostile fashion against the then mayor of the town of Northampton and other upright and law-worthy men of the said town of Northampton, and against the lord king's peace; and he afterwards was and still is an inciter of such injustices insofar as he can be: from which great danger and disturbance of the lord king's peace could arise.
