William Hubert holds one messuage and 3 acres of pasture within the said park ('Litelpark'), and doing everything as John Shirle (i.e., repair the palings, weekly perambulation of the park) and gives no rent. but be it remembered that this William has nothings except a messuage both for a 'Coterellond' and for making this service. ... Now of the Coterells ... William Hubert holds one messuage, 1 acre 1 rood of land and 1 piece of pasture and will do wholly as John Whaterich (i.e., weekly work etc.) and pays yearly of rent 5d and for the works 3s 4d (in two instalments of 22 1/2d each at Easter and Michaelmas; he also gives 1 1/2 eggs at Easter).
