The same Hugh appears through his aforesaid attorney, against Sir Roger Bacone, Roger Gogone of Hedenham, Adam Ade of Hedenham, Henry Fayrman of Lingwood, Robert Gardyner of Halvergate, John Skot, Geoffrey atte Cherche, John atte Cherche, Thomas Lote, Richard Grannt, John Fullare, Thomas Thorald, John atte Chambre of Potter Heigham, Peter Iokkes of Potter Heigham, Richard atte Welle of Ludham, Adam Chibbe of Stalham and John Soutere of Stalham on a plea that with force and arms they broke the close and houses of the said Hugh in the town of Great Yarmouth and took and carried away his goods and chattels found there to the value of £40, and other enormities, against the peace. And they do not come. And the sheriff was ordered to distrain the aforesaid Roger Bacon and to arrest the aforesaid Roger Gogone and the others. And the sheriff reports that the aforesaid Roger Bacon is distrained by chattels to the value of 18d and by the mainprise of John Smyth, Thomas Hert, Henry Ferrour and Adam Sivert. Therefore, they are in mercy. And just as previously the sheriff is ordered to distrain him by all lands and revenues and produce him at the quindene of Trinity 1382. And regarding the aforesaid Roger Gogone [and others] the sheriff reports that they cannot be found.
