The Cambridge jury say upon their oath that John Est, William Hynton, John Derabought and Ralph his servant, Thomas Baxster, William Lokyere, Thomas Stowe, Robert Flecchere, Richard Martyn, John Tyteshale their leader, John Gryndere, Thomas Furbisshour, Simon Hosiere, John Russel, Thomas Lystere, John his son and John de Dene, porter, along with other wrongdoers rose up against all the liege subjects and the king's peace, in the town of Cambridge on Sunday 16th June 1381, regarding all acts committed against the Prior of Barnwell, and they coerced the mayor, namely Edward Remodwe, to make a proclamation against the Prior of Barnwell, against the laws and customs of the kingdom of England. And that during the whole time of the insurrection after the said day, they were aiders and abettors in continuing the insurrection to the prejudice of the king.
