Richard Bray assaults Dieta Clere and takes a fine
[The jurors] also say that Richard Bray, bailiff, on Wednesday 19th June 1381 assaulted Dieta, wife of William Clere in Ormesby and threatened her life and limb and the burning of her houses. And because of this the same Dieta made a fine with the aforesaid Richard Bray of 21 s. to have her deliverance.
