Short DescriptionOrder concerning charters destroyed in London during revolt
DetailsTo the mayor and sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas until the next parliament in respect of a plea pending before them in the king's court of the city between Simon Levelyf plaintiff and Robert Crulle clerk, John atte Harpe and John Hunte clerk tenants concerning a tenement in Lime Street, London, any command to them previously addressed to proceed therein notwithstanding; as the said tenants have shewn the king that their charters and muniments concerning the premises were burned by the insurgents in the late disturbance, and it is the king's will by advice of the lords and great men in the said parliament to provide a remedy in all such cases.
