DetailsBe it remembered that John Holthorp, Simon de Morle, Thomas de Acastre and Robert de Rixton appeared before the lord king at Westminster in this same term and stood bail for William de Hornby of York and Thomas de Santon of York, arrested by the marshal at the command of the justices and brought here to court, that they will henceforth conduct themselves well towards the lord king and his people, and especially towards Richard de Ravenesere, the lord king's clerk of his chancery, and that they will not inflict or cause to be inflicted, nor will either of them inflict or cause to be inflicted, personally or through others, any harm or injury on the aforesaid Richard Ravenesere, through threats, ambushes, assault, insurrection, beating or in any other way, or which can result in harm or disturbance to the lord king's peace in any way.
