DetailsJohn Bocher, on the Monday following the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist in the fourth year of the aforesaid king's reign, at Wormleighton, prepared himself for St Albans to treat with the company of those who rose up against the lord king's peace, so that [they might] come towards the county of Warwick; and he removed all his goods from the said county of Warwick in order to rise up with the said insurgents. And the same John is a common thief.
