DetailsIt was presented that Thomas Payntour of St Albans on 14 June 1381 painted a banner with the king's arms and went with various traitors to St Albans and threw down the houses of Richard Stryveyn, John Clerk and Robert atte Chaumbre. Thomas Payntour is led from the Marshalsea and produces a pardon, along with Richard Walyngford of St Albans; they are released and mainprised.
