DetailsJohn Saferay of Stow-cum-Quy was pardoned on 22 November 1381 for his involvement in the revolt, on condition he was not a ringleader or involved in the killing of Simon Sudbury, Robert Hales, John de Cavendish or the Prior of Bury, or the burning of the manors of the Savoy or Clerkenwell. Therefore Robert Pays, escheator, is ordered to restore his lands.
