Short DescriptionPeter Thresshere and Ralph Motte pull down the houses of Robert Elteslee
Details[The jurors] also say that Peter Thresshere and Ralph Motte on the same Sunday at the time of the rumour pulled down the houses of Robert Elteslee at Clayhithe, and cut down the timber growing there, the value of which is unknown. And the aforesaid Peter and Ralph delivered themselves up to the justices to stand lawfully on Saturday 24th August 1381. And on this Roger Radewynt, Thomas Smyth of Balsham, William Maupas and John Bayly of Fen Ditton bailed them, ready to appear in court from day to day until a legitimate means has been decided upon, body for body under penalty of £100 paid to the king under the aforesaid condition.
