DetailsAlso the jurors at Armingford say that Geoffrey Cobbe with other unknown persons subject to him, feloniously and like traitors entered the manor of Thomas Haselden at Guilden Morden and Steeple Morden, namely on Saturday 15th June 1381, and proclaimed publicly, pretending that they had a commission from the king for doing many evil deeds, when they had no such thing. And they sold there 155 quarters of grain, 6 quarters 7 bushels of peas and 5 quarters 2 bushels of barley and oats belonging to the said Thomas.
