DetailsAlso that Simon Sylk of Holkham seized the aforesaid Thomas Soppe and arrested and imprisoned him for the aforesaid reason (ie. the theft of the horse), and afterwards on 24th June 1381 he sent him to Geoffrey Lyster, chief leader and rebel, the next Monday, who pardoned him for the aforesaid felony and thus he got away [with it] etc.
