Details[The jurors] also say that William Vaux of Frettenham came with force and arms in that rumour against the king's peace on Friday 21st June 1381 to Stiffkey to the dwelling of William Irmynglond and the house of Robert de Gayton, chaplain, and there cruelly threatened his life and limb, with the society raised (in rebellion) against the peace, for fear of which (threats) the said Robert made a fine and he [William] took 4 marks 2 s.
