DetailsThey [the jurors] say that Robert Tewe, Thomas de Breccham, John de Estcroft and Richard Lodere of Littleport came with others unknown on 17th June 1381 to Southery and assaulted Robert de Gravele and placed the head of the same Robert on a certain block to behead him so that to save his life the same Robert made a fine with them for the sum of 8 marks and 16 d. in coin, and 28 cows worth 10 marks, and they were common wrongdoers and disturbers of the peace at the aforesaid time.
