Short DescriptionChristopher Shukkeburgh versus Richard Payn
DetailsKent - Richard Payn attached to answer Christopher Shukkeburgh by Richard Skypp his attorney on a plea that on 12 June 1381 with force and arms, namely swords, bows, arrows and knives, he broke the close and houses of the said Christopher at Shorne, and took and burnt charters, writings, rentals and other muniments, and did other damage to the value of 100 marks. Sheriff has been ordered to arrest him, returns that he is not found. Order repeated as before, to be in CP in octave of St John the Baptist.
