John Rychond makes proclamations against the king and offers reward for the capture of Edmund Gurnay and John de Holkham
[The jurors] also say that John son of William Rychond of (East) Walton on Saturday 15th June 1381 at (Burnham) Deepdale made certain general proclamations against the crown of our Lord King, namely, that anyone who was able to seize Edmund Gurnay and John de Holkham would have 20 s. as a reward, and he had feloniously plundered 20 s. in cash of William Dauntre, servant of the said Edmund, saying that the aforesaid Edmund and John were traitors to the king's people and common pillagers etc.
