John Pipere and John Shepherd threaten Simon Warde and Alan atte Grene
[The jurors] also say that John Pipere of Briston and John Shepherd of Sharrington, at the time of the uprising and insurrection of the people against the king's peace, on the aforesaid day and year at Bale , went to the house of Simon Warde and the houses of Alan atte Grene and other various men, along with other wrongdoers, and threatened them openly that unless they gave them various sums of money they would kill and behead them, and thus they took the sum of half a mark.
