Attack on property of Edmund Lakyngheth in Suffolk
Nicholas Cook and numerous others attached to answer Edmund Lakyngheth on a plea that with force and arms they broke his close and houses at Gislingham, Herringswell, Eriswell, Lakenheath, and Stoke [Ash] near Eye, seized livestock, goods and chattels, burnt his muniments, and threatened and pursued him so that he fled to sea and was captured by the French and held to ransom.
