Robert Hynkele burns the Savoy, the Hospital of Clerkenwell and the manor of John Butterwyk
Robert Hynkele and others, on Thursday 13 June 1381, came to the manor of the Savoy and to the manor of St John of Jerusalem in England, and afterwards to the manor of John Butterwyk at Knightsbridge, and feloniously and traitorously burnt down the aforesaid manors and the houses within the aforesaid manors in the county of Middlesex against the peace. He pleads not guilty and is committed to prison.
