Appeared in King's Bench with John in the Hale of Ruislip. Both pleaded not guilty and acquited by jury. But because they had been placed in exigend, jury asked what goods they had when they were placed in exigend. John in the Hale had goods worth 20s and John Carpenter had goods worth one mark, for which they were ordered to respond. KB 27/502 rex m.23d
