Elias Reyner of Strood, king's escheator in the county of Kent handed over the records of his escheatorship and of the hundred of Middleton to Richard Poser of Rochester, and afterwards John Bawdry of Snodland came with others unknown who feloniously seized and burnt them at Rochester on 9th June 1381.
