Edward Weston, Thomas Bedforth and others rose up in Middlesex, and on Thursday 13 June 1381 feloniously and treacherously burnt the lord duke of Lancaster's manor called the Savoy and the prior of Clerkenwell's manor in the same county of Middlesex.
