John Barbour and others steal documents from the prior of Barnwell
John Barbour, tanner, John Trippelowe, Alice de Lynne, Henry Tanner, John Causton, Thomas Stowe, John Bokkyng and John Cumton and John Derabought, on Sunday 16 June 1381, took all the muniments of the prior of Barnwell at Barnwell by force and arms, and retained them in their hands until 23 June, on which day they were delivered to the aforesaid prior by virtue of a writ of the lord king.

John Barbour and others on Monday 17 June 1381 broke the close of the prior of Barnwell at Barnwell with force and arms, and disseised the prior of 4 acres of garden, cut down trees, broke a water-gate and two houses, and stole fish from the fishponds.
John Barbour and others threaten the prior of Barnwell
John Barbour and others, on Wednesday 19 June 1381, with force and arms, namely swords and cudgels, entered the priory of Barnwell and threatened the life and limb of the said prior, so that they released to the mayor and burgesses of Cambridge [sense lost].
