Richard de Beverley and others assault John Preston of Beverley
Richard de Beverley of Beverley, Hammond Well, Thomas Manby, William Totyng, John Gervays, vintner, Thomas Cato, John de Ake, draper, Adam Barkere, Thomas Voele, John Wellyng, Adam Tundowe, Thomas Maning, John Arwom, Richard Langstray of Beverley in the county of Yorkshire, and William Wystowe of London, tailor, on Wednesday 4 June 1382, by force and arms, viz with swords, etc, made an assault upon John Preston of Beverley at the parish of St Mary le Strand in the county of Middlesex, and beat, wounded and mistreated him against the peace of the now lord king, etc.
