Pardon dated 4 August 1383, at the supplication of the Queen, to William Bennington of Bumpsted in Essex, who was a ringleader in the riots at Bury on 14 June 1381, and broke the house of John Cavendish at Bury and carried off goods there: CPR 1381-85, pp.297-298. This pardon was presented in KB together with a writ de non molestando dated 4 August 1383: KB 27/501 rex m. 2. C66/316 m.38; E179/107/68.
