Details | [The jurors] also say that John Taylor of Barningham Norwood, Robert Jowbel of Southrepps and John Herman of Thwaite, along with many others, arrested John de Basyngham and Thomas Colman at Overstrand, and by force and arms led the aforesaid John and Thomas against their will up to the manors of Hanworth, Felbrigg, Barningham and Bessingham and to various other locations to burn court rolls of the said [manors], at which time the aforesaid John and Thomas despaired of their lives, on Wednesday 19th June 1381. |
