Also that Hugo Bocher of Caston on Monday 17th June 1381 at the time of the rumour went with force and arms with others unknown up to Palgrave to the [sheep] pen of John de Pagrave and plundered 400 ewes of the same John, so that Peter Boteler, John's attorney following the said Hugo to recover the said sheep for the benefit of the said John, could not have them back unless he [John] made a fine of 5 s. with Hugo, which the said Hugo took and carried away.
